River Park
River Park is located just north of the junction of HWY 3 & 83, along the Souris River. 
The park contains a canteen booth used for special events, as well as a covered storage area. The 4 ball diamonds, all with built in dugouts, are used by both Boys and Girls Minor Ball, Girls Softball and Adult Slow Pitch teams. The park is also used for school functions and community events, including the annual July 1 Canada Day Celebrations and our yearly Banana Days Celebration in August. The local Melita & Area Fire Department supervises the accompanying fireworks display.
Keven Thompson Memorial Campground is located off Highway 83 just south of the railway tracks in a treed location to the west of the ball diamonds. 21 clean and serviced sites (2 -50 amp; 18 – 30 amp; 6 -15 amp). Un-serviced and overflow lots are also available.

Adapting to the needs of today, the Keven Thompson Memorial Campground in Melita now offers Online Reservation services, through Lets Camp. We will have a site blocked for drop-in, but we cannot guarantee that it will be available. We highly recommend booking online though Lets Camp. Click on the link below to make your reservation.
